Seaside Promenade- Pondicherry, the favorite Rock Beach
In Pondicherry, there is something called Seaside Promenade which is one of the most relaxing parts of the city. A favourite place to visit is the Beach of Rocks also referred to as Rock Beach or Promenade Beach that is surrounded by a natural beauty of the Bay of Bengal and a soothing effect.
This 1.5 km long walkway is a beautiful footpath surrounded with nature, history, and beautiful French colonial buildings and it is a good place to walk in the morning, evening, have a stroll with someone you love and enjoy the sea breeze.

The Promenade is free of traffic as compared to other heavy traffic areas thus safe and calm. You will find people very frequently:
