The Sri Karneshwar Nataraja Temple is a very exclusive temple in the world. The thing is that it is in the shape of a pyramid, which reminds the Great Pyramid of Egypt. It is an exquisitely beautiful temple that is devoted to Lord Shiva who is taking the form of Nataraja, the cosmic dancer.
The Temple having an Intriguing Background
This location also houses an original temple that was constructed in the year 2000 by Dr. Karan Singh the chairman of the Auroville Foundation. Unfortunately, that structure was flooded in 2004 during the Tsunami.
Dr. Singh later constructed another temple utilizing the Egyptian architecture-pyramid. Not only is the shape of the temple in the form of a pyramid and wondrous to look at but it also aids in the transfer of positive energy due to the geometrical patterns.
